" I'll let you know how that belief works for me on tomorrow's blog. Who knows? Depending on how my day goes, I may be joining that upper percentile*. " *(of people who believe in the day's bad luck)
Well, I am sitting here this morning sipping hot tea with honey and lemon as I nurse a sore throat that appeared suddenly in the afternoon yesterday.
When I returned from my morning walk, I realized that my little knee brace was no longer on my knee...so I had to retrace all of my steps to find it somewhere in the neighborhood.
The cat scratched me in the morning and later I accidentally cracked an unfired plate that I had been working on for some time.
Dave and I had a little 'disagreement' over something trivial...(you know- the "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" foolishness!)....and last night my laptop suddenly stopped working and connecting to the Internet.
Other than that, it was a great day... : 0
I guess that I need to rethink my "karma" concerning Friday, the 13th.
How about you? How was your day, oh blogging pals of mine?

I am so sorry that you are sick. I do hope you get over it soon and it doesn't develop into a full blown cold. :( Believe it or not, but yesterday was better than today! Plus my son and wife are safely home in Ohio.
Please take care grammie and also I did not comment yesterday, but Owen is looking like a little feller for sure now! So very precious he is!
God Bless!
Thanks so much for your comments, Claudia. I am so glad that your son and his wife arrived safely home! I was thinking about them all day...
I am nursing this allergy/cold thing in hopes of nipping it in the bud.
Owen is starting to look really little boyish, isn't he?! : )Thanks again for your sweet words.
Have a great weekend! xoxo
Hi, I am back ! Usually I don't pay attention about Fridays 13, but this time I put it on this fact, because my tour finished this day and I was the ONLY guest in a hotel for 300 people, and my plane was 2 h late ! But otherwise I survived the day.
It was an ordinary day; it played out like any other Friday the 13th. It passed harmlessly and not a thing disturbed the peace of my padded closet.
Bert....glad that they let you out long enough to comment on my blog today. You never fail to amuse with your observations....
Back to the padded closet for you.... : )
I live with a black cat who tries every day to trip me, so every time I avoid falling on him is a lucky day! Of course Bennie doesn't act like he's trying to trip me, he's really just trying to rub up against me while we're both walking in different directions!! =-).
Sorry you're having a sore throat! My last Friday started out with a sore throat of massive proportion and ended up on Saturday with a raging cold. My dad's scientific approach was "if you treat a cold, it'll be gone in about 7 days, if you leave it alone, it'll be gone in a week."
Try a shot of burboune in your hot tea and lemon, couple of those and you won't CARE if you're throat is sore or not!!
Hope you and Dave are back on the same planet now, somedays are just like that!
Owen is a hunky babe already and glad to see that puppy isn't green anymore! =-).
Hopefully the 'kids' will move closer real soon so you can be nearer to Owen (and them too of course).
