I can't help it....I love the show....I love the singers...I can't wait to see local boy Taylor Hicks doing his crazy dance and to hear Katharine belt out "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"! And, what about Elliot Yamin's soulful voice....and the rocking sounds of Chris Daughtry? I am also looking forward to getting to see Ace up close and personal. (I better stop...I am probably embarrassing my children by now!)
So, here I am, a 57 (and 11/12th's) year old grammie-to-be getting ready to join the mobs of screaming teenagers and enjoy seeing all of my "Idols".
I can always fib and pretend that I am just there to chaperone my 'younger children' who are attending...but, I guess that the "I LOVE AMERICAN IDOL" sign that I will be carrying may be a dead giveaway.
Stay tuned....full report after tomorrow night!

Dunno how you feel about our hometown girl, Kellie Pickler, but what you see is what you get. Her adopted sister, Summer lives on my street and Kellie is all that she appears to be and more. We as a town and county are really proud of her, as well as ALL the others. It was a good race and I think they all came out winners and we are all better for have taken the ride with them. Take care Grammy!
God Bless!
I adore Kellie Pickler....I think that she is like this generation's Goldie Hawn! I can't wait to see her perform tomorrow night...
I can understand your town's pride over Kellie...we all go crazy here about Taylor, Bo and Ruben. Thanks for your comment! I'm always glad to hear from you, Moobear.
