The last of my sisters arrived in Minnesota last weekend. She flew from the Florida 80+ degrees to the Minnesota 20 something degrees. But, I don't think that the weather was what she came for as this was her first time meeting her new grand-nephew! I think that she fell in love with Owen...just like the rest of us.
...And, word has it that the feeling was mutual... : )

Well, he sure look happy there! I wanted to share with you too Grammie, Fay has named me finally!! She was running down the hall last night looking for me, and called out "MEEMEE!!" So, there, I'm officially MeeMee. I feel so fortunate and grateful to finally have a name from my granddaughter!

Grammie, I loved all the pictures. Little Owen is really growing and I am sure Aunt Sherri was a very happy and proud aunt. I love to see little ones change from week to week almost. Thanks grammie!
Well, MeeMee...that sounds like a good name to me! Aren't grandkids the best?!?! I have already decided that I will be whatever Owen decides to call me....so, stay tuned...Grammie may be changing her name! : )
Ladies, I have been corrected in that the temperatures in Florida were actually in the 90's when my sister left for MN. Hot!
He is growing up....wish that he would slow down a little until I can see him again Thanksgiving!! ha ha

I started out wanting my grandboys to call me grandmama....well, that didn't last long. When my oldest one was about four~one day he said, "I think I will start calling you Granny", and that is what I have been ever since. What do you do?
I know one thing for certain.....Owen will never lack for love. That is wonderful. Grammie, your sister looks so happy....and Owen is growing like a weed!
