She continues: "I'm a photographer, I could create images of optimism, of people being nice to each other, not cruel or thoughtless."
Thus, the Smooch Project began.
What started out as a simple, and loving picture of her sister planting a kiss on Bonnie's cheek....became a photographic journal of people smooching each other, a pet, or just a beloved object.
It has grown to be quite a venture as she hopes to take thousands of pictures for public display, cd, and book...showing how "...In a world darkened by cynicism and terror a simple act of affection has the power to transform..."
She was especially looking for pictures of new born babies and the elderly. After hearing about Bonnie's project and her request for baby pictures, Adam and Jenny inquired about being a part of her photography essay. She met with the two of them and said that she was interested in taking their pictures.
A few weeks after Owen's arrival, the photos were snapped.
I have included just a few of the groupings (above) that she took.
I just fell in love with them all....there is so much emotion and affection that can come through the simplicity of a kiss. I love her concept and really believe in the power of her work.
And, I think that little Owen's expressions are priceless.
But, then, what do I know? I am just an unbiased and impartial Grammie! : )
So, go kiss someone and have a great day!

Wonderful grammie! And Owen is the most perfect little "smoochee" that Bonnie could have! Love the pictures, take care grammie!
God Bless!
Very touching!!!!
Thanks ladies! : )
These are real emotional pictures and I really like that little doggie was part of too. You know what I would do ? Just make a photo blog and put pictures of Owen in. Just a blog only for him. That also would be a nice souvenir for him seeing himself growing. And also you could decorate this blog with all kind of cute baby stuff there are so many for blogs ! I could give you some addresses.
Thanks for the suggestions, Gattina. The idea of doing a photo blog sounds like something that I would love to do at some point...but because of time constraints and such....I need to just do the one blog for now and keep posting pictures there. I do love your photos!!! Have a nice day....xoxo Grammie
