Two seconds in "our box seats"

His friend, Dean at least managed a smile....

...but look how miserable thrilled Dave looks....as they are attempting to sit in our box seats for "The Oaks" filly race on Friday at Churchill Downs....all of this going on while cold, torrential rain is falling all around us.

Right after I took this picture, the skies opened up even more as the lightning and thunder began to arrive on the soggy scene...and we all ran under the overhang for the duration of the day.
