First we had sleet.
Then we had about an inch of snow.
Then we had freezing rain.
And, finally, we had sleet, again....which made most of the snow go away...but, left little icicles hanging from whatever it could hang from.
The Great Snowstorm of 2011 had a lot of roar......but, very little bite.
Such is winter in the deep South.
