Hotlanta

For those of you who read my previous post "One hundred and what??????" (August 9th post) about the outdoor wedding that Dave and I are going to in Atlanta today....you will be happy to know that the ceremony has been moved indoors!

The heat index was just way too high to subject people to be outside in black tie attire for any length of time.

Actually it is too hot to be outside for any length of time in ANY attire!

So, we are off to "Hotlanta" this morning and will be returning right after the brunch Sunday morning.

P.S. All remaining events are indoors. : )

I started this blog when my daughter-in-law, Jenny, was expecting my first grandson. Because of the "spiritual" route that her pregnancy took, the baby-to-be was temporarily named "Buddha". Thus began the journey of "Awaiting Buddha".

Owen arrived first...followed by the birth of his sister, Audrey, for Adam and Jenny. Then Celia and Dylan came along for Janet and Jeffrey.... and now I am getting to experience the incredible joys of being a Grammie to four grandkids....and, so, the blog continues....
