Dave and I are heading to Louisville, Kentucky this morning for the Kentucky Derby! This is a big part of Dave's past and continues to be a tradition with us.
We will be staying with his old college friend and his wife up in Lexington in their wonderful historic home...sipping mint juleps and talking with a Southern drawl**. : )
Unfortunately this morning I heard that the weather may be turning quite nasty and severe there tomorrow....so, the "Run for the Roses" may become the "Run for Cover"!
All in all, it should be a fun experience...anyone want me to bet on a horse for them?!?!
